Hi there
Newbie from Cornwall again. Can someone provide us newbies with a glossary of terms.
e.g. FMQ and SITD.
What do these mean? It's just that american termanology is so different from ours. That is why I feel I need quite possibly a UK Mom.
Can anyone help pleeeas.

This should help with the more common ones
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-25607-1.htm
Lots of people have asked this question so if you go to "search" at the top of the page and type in "abbreviations" you will see lots of other answers too.
I hope this helps

Hi there from Ohio. Do a search above for acronyms and you will get lots of information.
FMQ-Free motion quilting
SITD-Stitch in the ditch
Its just short talk so we don't have to spell it out. Believe me you will love it and you are not the only one who doesn't know these abbreviations. Sometimes I sit here and try to figure them out also. When you are reading their story sometimes you can figure it out.
