Things to take on vacation...

I am heading to Knoxville on Tuesday. I will be attending AQS. James and I are staying with our son and daughter-in-law. Hubby has a meeting in Louisville on the 21st, so we will be in Knoxville while our hosts are working. I am taking my FW and the first 45 blocks from the Farmer's Wife. They are cut and neatly bagged. I also have an extra 1/2 yard of all my fabrics, plus cutting equipment, just in case I get to done with the first 50! (Hopeful thinking.) I will be sitting in a hotel room for 3 days in Louisville so I may get a lot done! I always take something to sew, something to knit, something to read, and of course, my furbaby when I travel.

We are spending our annual week at the lake next week and I always take scrapbooking to work on. You never know when you may have bad weather. We stay pretty close to "home" so we do have a lot of down time to do our own thing.

Camille, sounds like you got it all covered as far as packing for your trip. Terrible thing to be "trapped" in a room with your sewing machine for a few days! Have a fun and safe trip. Looking forward to getting together when you return.

Better watch that "Cutting Equipment" if you're going on a plane.
They even take manicure scissors from you. Put that cutting equipment in your CHECKED bags so you can keep it. Or send it to the place you will be staying.
Please check out the air rules of which ever line you're using.
