tv tray ironing board
#1
A friend showed me how to make a TV tray ironing board to sit next to my sewing machine. It's only good for blocks but its very handy. I took an old tv tray and an old ironing board cover and slipped it on the tv tray. Flipped the try upside down ,streched it and stappled it . It folds up for easy storage and its just the right size for next to my machine. I hope yall can use this tip. It really is a lot easier than getting out the full sized ironing board.

When I first saw the T.V. tray ironing board idea, I quickly jumped on it. I have a tray right next to my sewing machine now.
Before I had the ironing board tray I would sew in a room at one end of the house and every time I needed to iron something I'd have to go to the iron board that is set up at the other end of the house.

I have a TV tray I keep behind the door in my quilt room folded up when I am not using it. You would never know it was there. I am not sure if this is a no-no or not but I just put a small towel on it when I am using it. :)
