UFO & WIP Benefits
#1
While down and out with a cold/flu and bad back i sure learned that having ufo's and wip are a Very Good thing! And here i thought keeping my New Year's resolution about doing one project at a time was a good idea. I spent the last two nights starting some appliques and some top piecing just to put them in a big basket. My DH came in and asked what i was doing so i told him it was my "emergency" basket. You see, if i had had some hand work to do while recovering on the couch, I would not have been so misserable! So the next time you feel guilty about having too many ufo's- DON'T You never know when they will become a sanity saver :!:

Thanks for posting this. I'm having some surgery in a couple of weeks and have a lot of things in the WIP pile to finish up while I'm sitting in my recliner. 3 projects to sew binding on and some others. Hope I'm cohearant(sp) enough to do something in my week off. LOL
