Virtual Quilt Retreat Thanksgiving Edition

Virtual Quilt Retreat Thanksgiving Edition
I know a lot of people love to shop today or are travelling but I'm a bit of a hermit and am avoiding the crowds by hiding in my sewing room. Anyone else up for a Virtual Quilt Weekend?
I want to start by finishing this quilt top for my 8-year-old niece

I am I am!!! Not leaving the house for the next several days so I'm so in for this. I have a few more things that I must finish up and I'm hoping to spend more of the day cutting & organizing my scraps for some challenges for the new year.
Kaelynangelfoot.. I love that panel!! It just whispers to me to do some shape & deminsional quilting on it.

I 'm in too! I need to finish sandwiching my table topper, piecing the back and thinking of embroidering a design on the backing then quilting it. There is nothing I need to shop for today. Would rather spend the few dollars more on another day away from the mobs.

Count me in. I have already got all the pieces cut for the first clue of Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice mystery quilt. Plan to sew those units and continue to work on quilting her Lazy Sunday mystery quilt. Its a Bonnie weekend! You can't pay me enough to go out shopping this weekend.

Just finishing up a pincushion for my almost 7 year old DGD. Next will be a blouse I am doing alterations on and then onto quilted Christmas ornaments. Ooops, almost forgot DGS requested a bigger quilt for his cat, Thomas. How can I turn him down?

Today is my day. First up is to get the squares from my preschool sewing adventure sewn together, sandwiched and quilted so I can send it to the little kiddos.
Then a christmas table topper using Star Strata. Ambitious day.

Do we have to post pictures? I'm hopelessly tech challenged! Otherwise, I'm in! I'm holed up in a cozy cabin in the mountains for a week and brought a couple projects to finish with me, so quilting was on my agenda already. :-)

Think I will join in, I can't compete with that gorgeous quilt for you niece. She is a lucky girl. I need some inspiration to finish the Hello Kitty lap quilt I have started for my daughter's friend. Maybe this will make me get going.

I'm in! It's not Thanksgiving here, but apparently Black Friday has spread across the border. Not going anywhere near a store today. I have a quilt on my longarm that I want to finish quilting and get the binding on. Then there's Bonnie's mystery to start (need to dig that fabric out of the dryer and iron it I guess). And one other quilt on the list that I hope to at least cut out this weekend.
This is the quilt on the long arm today.
