What is this pattern?

I recently saw a quilt that really caught my eye. I'll try to describe it the best I can and hopefully some will know what it is called.
Looks like about about 4 inch circles, lined with contrasting backing. two circles were joined, right side together on one side of the circle. when the two circles were opened up,
there was the contrasting backing on the front between the two circles. I hope I'm describing this well enough. It wasn't a cathedral pattern.

Well, your comment about it NOT being a cathedral window was helpful - I thought of quilts that looked like a CW but weren't. I'm not sure about the official name - makes it rather hard to do a search for it, doesn't it? lol
