What's the Most Unusual Item You've Ever Made?

I made a simple two pocket apron [like servers wear in Applebys] so she can carry some things from room to room at the hospital where she is a nurses aide. Nurses liked them and in two months I'd made ten ordered special for what ever they wanted to carry.

One of my sons-in-law has his own tree trimming business. He has a "bucket" truck. He needed a new cover for the bucket (to keep rain/snow from getting inside the bucket). I just took the old one apart for a pattern and made him a nice vynal one with elastic around the edges to hold it on. He is still using it and that was some years ago.

A big ole red stuffed chile for a chili cookoff trophy.
(The winner got a little obscene with it).
A 60 foot canvas canopy for a hotel veranda.
GS Age One: Lion costume
GS Age Two: Scarecrow costume
GS Age Three: Tin Man costume
GS Age Four: Book Bag, whip, and hat from Indiana Jones
GS Age Five: Jedi robes for the entire neighborhood
GS Age Six: You guys are on your own now.

I had to make a tuxedo for a toy bear to attend a wedding. My GS's mom was getting married. GS wanted to take toy bear to wedding. Mom wasn't thrilled with the idea so said he had to have a tuxedo to wear thinking GS would not be able to find one. Problem solved without actually having to say no.
GS ask me if I could do it. Of course I could. "Gizmo" went to the wedding and was a hit with the guests. Mom? She could have killed me.

Wow, you guys really get me to thinking of things I made and had forgotten about. How about costumes for the entire HS color guard flag team. They made their own flags. Some moms weren't happy about that.
About 30 yrs ago a lady brought me a pic from a catalog and asked me to duplicate. An apron that looked like a nude woman but the boobs removed to be the potholders. Laughed the whole time I was making that one.

I've made bulls bags for my husband. They are bags filled with sand that he uses to steady his gun when shooting. I made them from old jeans. Some are just square or rectangular bags, but couple have humps like a camel that the gun rests between.
