where to buy - homespun towels
#1
Quick question. I've decided to applique some homespun kitchen towels for Christmas presents. I did one at camp this past week, but would like to do more. What stores do you recommend for buying several homespun towels (close to a dozen) and what is a good price per towel that I should be paying?
Thanks!

I'd suggest getting some homespun fabric and hemming them up yourself. You'll have more variety in colors and prints to choose from and it'll be cheaper than premade ones. I've done this and enjoyed being able to coordinate the fabric w the colors in the applique or embroidery design.

one of our lqs carry them-- they are $3.39 apiece and very nice towels.
some quilt shops do carry them- usually the shops that tend to specialize in reproduction type fabrics/thimbleberries
i (think) the towels here are from marcus brothers- but i might be mistaken.
go down the list of shops on the 'fabshophop' you are bound to find a dozen or so shops that carry them.
