Where did I see the great pictures to show the best way to cut for backs?

I know I saw it somewhere!
I am pretty good at doing the math for the quilt top--but the back--the simple backs--always make my head spin. I found a chart to tell how much to buy (thought I could easily get away with less) but I can't find where it illustrated how to lay the pieces for the backs.
I've searched through my newest books...
Is there a website with such wonderfully helpful information?

Good morning Bum, I know what your talking about but don't know where it is(big help huh?) It is John Flynn's formula and I have it printed at home. Maybe if you go on his website. It's called John's formula for Jane's problem or something like that.

His diagonally pieced back is under the weed whacker quilt here: http://www.flynnquilt.com/freepattern.html
I find rectangles easier to manage, just taking any extra piece and dividing in half and sewing to sides of larger one.
