Where do you buy fabric online?
I am about to start a ombra chevron baby quilt with Pantone's color of the year as my main color. Where are the best places to shop online for fabric? I am going to shops to pick out my fabrics but I know I can find it cheaper online. I just want a good reputable place!
Thanks,
Jamie

I love www.quilterswarehouse.com and www.thousandsofbolts.com If you tell Quilters Warehouse that you are from this board they will give you free shipping!

I have ordered from many places online and I have been very satisfied - just to name a few- www.greenfairyquilts.com; www.fabric.com; www.pinkchalkfabrics.com; www.fabricworm.com; www.hancocks-paducah.com; Westwood Acres on Etsy and Connies Fabric shop on Etsy - I am sure there are more - these just came to mind easily.

I just bought some fabrics from JAQs (https://www.jaqsfabrics.com/) and Contemporary Cloth (https://www.contemporarycloth.com/). The latter is having a clearance sale right now, and JAQs always has free shipping on orders over $50. The Japanese fabrics from Contemporary are wonderful. They're heavy, though (nearly home-decor weight). I'm using one in my next quilt.
Both websites have the big brands as well as some lesser-known ones, and a huge variety.
You might also try the Fat Quarter Shop (http://www.fatquartershop.com/). They have bundles and packages and kits. Don't let the name fool you - they definitely sell yardage

I like http://www.fabric.com . Also have had good luck at http://www.bugfabric.com finding coordinating lines of older fabric (when I see a quilt I really like that was made with a coordinated line).

I like hancock of paducah, their catalog is amazing (just got the new one - omg and I am doing a fabric moratorium this year - even dh liked the selection!)
If I shop my lqs, Once I find a fabric that I would like to use, I search the name and manuf on ebay. Most times my lqs is very competitive, and I get a chance to see the fabric as it is being cut. Lately, even at my lqs there seems to be more "errors" in manufacturing.

All of the above, and I've had wonderful service from 4my3boyz.com, snowflower.com and fashionfabrics.com. Fashion Fabrics sent me some fabric I hadn't ordered instead of what I did order. When I sent them an email they apologized profusely, told me to keep the fabric I got and sent me the new fabric immediately.
