Who has an accu go cutter???

Me! I bought it the first week it was available to buy. I was looking into getting the big Studio cutter like the quilt shop has and found out the Go was being made. Much cheaper and easier to store then the Studio. I have most all the dies except the rag quilt, I've use it and it's a hassle. All the other are great. For all gift giving days I ask for new dies. That's how I have most of them. I use the basic die shapes the most and the strip cutter. I really like the Tumbler die. Accucut gives a Go away every Friday on their Facebook page and has lots of info there. Now they have a die coversion chart, to covert most any quilt pattern to fit the dies. I think die cut machines will be just as normal in the next few years as the rotary cutter is now.
I have about 1/4" to 1/2" waste. I don't understand how anyone can have more waste. If you cover the whole die then you will have lots of waste. They do that in demos to save time and I think that gives the wrong impression. It's not going to please everyone but I'm glad it pleases me. :D No more aches from rotary cutting.

Hi, re the waste I figured it out a half inch waste on a 2 inch square is 25%, so depending on how many squares are the die at one time it could add up to be quite a bit, and yes I realize that some of the dies abut, but even if you just calculate only 2 edges it would be at least 10 to12% and if you left more than 1/4 inch on each of 2 edges the number went up. Like I said, I was just glad that I had extra fabric. Had 1 fabric that stretched like crazy with the die (triangular)and had to abandon it altogether. Maybe I just had a bad first experience, but its gone now. OH well. :?
