This sounds like a win/win situation. Quilting is such good therapy! Ask me how I know. You must be a special aunt that he would want to do this with. Good on you for being there for him. Tshirt quilts are fun to make. Just don't forget the fusible interfacing, lol. Have a fun day.

This is a time for a good time together, if it's therapy for him or not it's surely not our job to say if it is. We all probably use all of our hobbies as a form of therapy to some degree but none of us really want or need that reminder when we are just trying to enjoy our time quilting. Quilt making is great therapy, indeed, as I discovered myself following surgery last year. The business of cutting, piecing, creating is a terrific concentrator and gives you something to do and think about besides worry and brood.
