Would like some info on a Singer 185j
#1
Today I saw a Singer 185j in an antique store. It was priced at $25 and said "as is". I didn't have the time to check to see if it ran, looks like everything is there, but I think it has the wrong bobbin in it. Its a cute little machine. Do you think its worth it? Looking forward to all replies.

I have one, I paid $40 plus $50 for tune up and $16 for a 1/4' quilting foot. I thought it would run a little more smooth than it does. I thought the guy who did the tuneup would change the belt, original green leather belt. He said to keep it on because it would last a long time more, and fits better than the newer ones.
