I might buy it if I was doing a crazy quilt and I liked the colors. I would stay away from any "industrial strength heavy duty sewing machine". The threads sound ok but only if they're colors you would normally buy. My 2 cents worth.

Why not bid on it? It starts at $1.00. Most of the thread is polyester and/or rayon....don't worry about age of polyester, rayon is natural so doesn't last as long as polyester. Good quality thread plus other goodies. S&H is stated. Good luck! GiGi :D :D

Nope. At first I thought the mixed lot would be good at $1 but look at the shipping. You would probably get a few spools of thread and that's it and you will pay $23 for shipping. Better to stick to the stores and the sales and coupons. I have bought very nice fabric thru eBay but this is not a deal. If they broke it down into smaller lots for less shipping, I might go for it. Definitely stay away from the Industrial strength sewing machines.

Emily, If there was more thread, I'd say go for it:))All the threads are good to use and good names, but, there isn't much there really. Some of the threads I think are embrod. threads. Not sure, but it looks like that.
Fabric weighs alot...to mail it. Thus the charge of shipping and In my guess is that is correct on the amount of weight to ship. Me personally, I wouldn't bid just because of the 'lack of' in what she is selling. If it is something you want and can't live w/o in the fabric..then who are we to tell you any different:)) Skeat

And for my 2 cents' worth: I would say, if you have birthday money left over, put it away for when you are ready for a project and then buy only for that project (maybe a little more so you'll have some for your stash). I may not be a good one to give advice, because I don't buy from the internet. I like to SEE what I'm buying. Believe me, your stash will grow fast enough. You don't really need to buy "in bulk." If you buy things that are of poor quality or things that you can't use, you'll be wasting your money and you'll be stuck with all this stuff to clog up your sewing area. Right, quilters?
