Years ago, at an out of town flea market, my late husband, knowing that I was in need of fabric, found and bought for me a box of absolutely lovely buttons that my grandkids grew up playing with, a pile of fabric that looked like folded sheets but had layers of cotton fabric inside it, never did figure that one out. And in the box of buttons were several small junky sparkley bits of metal, one of which was a tiny, smaller than a dime, gold piece commemorating the 1914 Pan American Exposition coin. I still have that one in the bank, don't know what it is worth.
Never was lucky enough to find me a featherweight, but then there's that yard sale for a church coming up.......I've found lots of goodies in church rummage sales.

My best buy came off of CL. I found a Phaff 221 in one of the tables still made today for over 800.00 dollars. The machine sets down inside and pulls up. Bought it from the original owner, they bought it in Germany. Came with everything including the original key. She used it to make baby clothes,I use it all the time.
