Happy birthday travelinggrandma! Hope you're still enjoying your travels! 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁
Congratulations NZQUILTER on the twins. I'm so happy for you and your family. Now it makes sense why you are so tired with your pregnancy, you've got 2 of them eating day and night. What a blessing. You will be a great mom to all of them.

Below is a photo of my latest 2.5 scrap quilt. It still needs quilting and binding. I saw one like this on another site, perhaps Scrap Quilt Enthusiasts, and knew I could work this on up quickly. I really needed to see a finish this month of something. No, I won't get it done tomorrow but certainly by the weekend. Easy and quick enough that I would do another. It finishes at 40X50 and uses 240 2.5's.Not bad for a last minute thought yesterday afternoon.

Not bad at all WMUteach!! One finish a month sounds like a goal I should be setting for myself.
I am joining the upcoming Boomerang Swap so I will be preoccupied with that for a while. I better get my sewing machine up and running so I can play with my candies in the meantime. Who knows if it survived my move across the country.... If it needs more repairs, I know a shop here I can take it to for repairs. Then again, maybe I should get the Necchi tuned up. That was my mom's machine and it sews like a dream. My nephew may end up with it when I leave Corpus so getting it repaired while I am here will help him out in the long run, too. I already have a Necchi back in Jackson :-). (and a million other machines....). Oh for time to learn to repair my machines and quilt enough to use up my fabric stash!
