Civil War Block swap - One, Two Three
#451
..... When I went to the PO today to alert them that I was going to be bringing in about 23 packages, the clerk alerted me that in January the flat rate will go up...once again. Not sure of the price......I know we all put what we can into fabric, then only to be injured again with increased postage.

With the price of gas going up, no wonder postage has to go up. Now to be sure the postal service remembers to deliver with a smile because we are helping to keep them in business. (LOL) I truly love my postal gal, she is so kind and just loves to oo and ahh at all the good things that ocme to me in the mail.
Love those last double Ts, so pretty with the black shade of fabric on the Ts. Yep, want one of those and your fabric choice for the shoo fly is real close to mine! There are some great minds here.

Fraew's came today - I just love this swap. I don't know how I could ever top it. I think it has been my best swap ever.....all because of you wonderful ladies! You are so quick to help each other out, and give praise and compliments as well as encouragement.

I just mailed my blocks 2 days ago and now I am antsy to get them back. The nerve of some people I tell ya!
I originally planned to set mine on point in rows of 4 blocks, with a nice stripe border like print in between the 3 rows of 4. But when I turn the blocks on point, the blocks look less attractive to me. Not awful, just less awesome.
I am thinking about alternating them with criss cross blocks to give the illusion that they are set on point.
Can't wait! Thanks everyone.
