I finished my Doll Quilt top and I have a problem....I want to keep it!

I guess I will have to make a second one for myself. I am going to try FMQ so it might be a good idea to have a second on hand.

I just finished my top, too. But I think I'm going to do another one with different fabrics.

    Ok, done being silly.
Do any of you have tips for applique? Like if I am stiching the edges with a tight zig zag do i still need to fold the fabric under?

OK question...I read on another site that you don't use batting in a doll quilt....I've never done a doll quilt and just assumed. Haven't finished it so I'm saved but what do you all use? This person said flannel because warm and natural was too stiff?

Hobbykat , I use Leggacy 100% cotton batting with scrim. It is soft and easy to quilt. I buy it at a LQS hope that helps.

I always use Warm & Natural or Hobb's Thermore (the thinnest batting ever). Never had a problem with either.
