Summertime Block Swap/ Signups open until March 30th
#92
Hi ladies. It looks as though Judith and I have sorted out the international postage, so - I AM IN - once I have my blocks made, that is.
I have a couple of things in mind so now to get started.

Summertime is right in the present for me (I'm in Australia in case you haven't noticed) and today touched the 100° mark which is just too hot to sew even with the air cons on.
So to get moving I washed my fabrics and they are hanging outside drying as I type.

I got it into the mailbox for pick up this afternoon by the mailman, judith. It is raining sideways today! Brr too cold and WINDY to go out.
Thank you so much for all the nice things you do for the quilt board members. Nice swap idea. This should make it enough blocks for a nice quilt. I had some set aside from our other summer swap. Remember that one? So thanks so much for hosting it!

This is the little wall hanging I made back in 2007 for our guild challenge. The fabric on the bus is the primary fabric. It was a paisley print and for some reason it screamed 60's and hippies to me. I got a 2nd place ribbon for it in our quilt show too. I even put bumper stickers on the back. I tried to take a picture of those to post but it was too fuzzy.

How cute! I had a VW bus like this when I was young. Not those colors, but it was perfect for me to taxi all my friends around in.
By the way, I just checked on the package of swap blocks. They were delivered this morning at eleven am. Dang, that was fast!
