Fabric before and after w/comic boards.....
I have finally organized my fabric on comic boards. I have a limited space to keep my fabric. This is cabinets in my sewing room. I also have a couple of totes that I want to organize also. I bought the boards at a local comic book store, they were $10 for 100. I was told the whole board was acid free, so that is what I'm going with. The bottom shelf in one of the pics are the fat qtrs and the top shelf in the other was Xmas & seasonal fabric. Not decided if I will put the fat qtrs on boards or not. I'm thinking not because I don't think they will all fit on that one shelf. Also like the other ladies who have posted about these boards I too found fabric I forgot I had. It is so nice to be able to see what I do have. I have room for a few more and one of the local quilt shops is having a good sale. I was there Friday and it was 55% off on some and 30% off on others. Last Sat the 55% off, went to 70% off. I wasn't able to go on Saturday. Darn it!

It looks amazing! I like looking at the mini bolts to see if I have any fabrics the same. I have some of the red and white peppermints. If the left side bottom shelf is bright multi colored bunnies, I have some of that too. What fun!

Great idea, I'd like to do the boards but I will have to get a shelving unit with doors Bc I have fluorescent lighting in my room and it fades my fabric over time. Also my curtains aren't light blocking. I think I'll keep my eyes peeled for a cabinet this spring & summer at yard sales
