What's a gidget table, Luray? Two of the tables I have are just Joann's cheapies (for sewing machines), the cutting table is my own creation using base kitchen cabinets and two are sewing machine tables that are made for industrial sewing machines. I'm intrigued. Off to Google gidget :-)
ETA....I googled gidget tables and mine look like them. I got them from JoAnnes so I don't know if they are the exact brand. They obviously won't work for a serger and that bummed me out. I suppose if I had someone make the cut-out larger it would work. Our work surfaces are everything, right? And there's never enough space, no matter how hard one tries. I'm going to be experimenting with changing around the space some so I can use one of my Viking machines nose-on for FMQ.
