You have inspired me!
After seeing all of you lovely spaces I am in the process of getting my sewing room together at my significant others house! We got the room cleared out of the junk and arranged like I want it and even made a nice cutting table using a precut piece of wood from Home Depot and 2 - 6 cube organizing units that I already had. Tomorrow I will organize even more and bring my new to me sewing machine over. I will still have my small corner to sew at in my apartment but I will use it for putting blocks together and smaller items to sell at craft shows. Once I have it organized I will post pictures. Thanks for all of your inspiration 😀😀😀

Congrats on creating a sewing space! It's so nice to clear out the junk. Why do we keep it? LOL.
Keep a bag or rolling tote packed with needed tools. I like the fishing tackle bags or a double box. Easy to keep everything organized.
Have fun in the new sewing space!

Sheryllyn your setup sounds like the one that I am creating, how big is your table top? I'm using my 4'x8' top for a cutting area and then I will place my sewing machine on the other side. I also have made mine 42 inches high because I want to try to stand while sewing as much as possible. So the plan is to get tall stools. Hope we both succeed in what we want! Good luck!

I really do better in an organized sewing area. I've been more disciplined with cleaning up and sorting scraps than I used to be. I call it doing the dishes. I do the dishes after each project and it has made a big impact on my willingness to keep on being creative. Soooo Good Luck with the Dishes Sheryllyn. And congratulations on your progress!
