Is anyone else attending the Innovations Conference on Long Arm quilting this week?
I went yesterday and learned so much! I can't wait to go back tomorrow and see the quilt display.
In one class my name was chosen for a prize and I won the teacher's sketch paper. It's really cool!

I went to some classes on Thursday and had a few minutes to look at the quilt show. Jaw dropping! I have some pics I will post too.. Between UglyCook and myself, we should have some cool pics to look at!

I really wanted to go & up until last Monday nite was still considering just biting the bullet & doing it - but from AZ (flyout of Las Vegas) the cost was just too prohibitive for finding out a month ago & not being able to plan ahead. My DH & I are talking about planning a vacation around the long-arm convention in Kansas next May to make the cost of the traveling go a bit farther. I don't have a problem w/the cost of the classes, but when it costs more to just get there & have a bed to sleep in in order to do it - at this point I can't justify it.
Ah well - If I go back to teaching full time this year (which just might be in the works for the rest of the school year, I'll save not only for the trip, but the long-arm as well!! Of course if I'm teaching F/T I may not be able to get the time to go... and I definitely won't be getting in my hours of practice on my 9" on the frame.
Looks like a great show from the few pics I've seen posted so far.
