I just did a quick mapquest from A to B. It has you headed south on the NJ turnpike. If you jump off the turnpike at Exit 9 (New Brunswick, NJ) and work your way to Pennington, NJ we have a lovely LQS - Pennington Quilt Works. Typical LQS pricing but very nice fabrics and personnel. Also in Burlington, NJ there is Olde City Quilts. Another very nice shop and great personnel as well. Lots more notions there if anyone has an interest in those. Also lots of civil war repros at that shop. Both shops have great batik sections. You could reasonably easy make your way from Pennington to Burlington or vice versa with easy access to/from the PA Turnpike in Burlington, NJ.
You will also be reasonably close to the King of Prussia (PA) mall when you are at Oaks. It's a huge honking mall! There is also Valley Forge National park near to there.
Can't really think of any other notable places but I'm sure others will be along with more suggestions. And have a great time!

omg! Harold's is the best. expensive yes!. but if you want 2 can easily eat 1 sandwich and then some. I get 1 corned beef eat whatever and take it home. dh has 1 sandwich that night and the next day we have enough for 2 more sandwiches. just the best. we don't leave jersey w/o going to Harold's first. my mouth is watering already!
