DH and I are leaving for 4 days tomorrow evening and will be staying in a cabin in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio. It is in the southeast corner of OH and it looks like there is lots to do. Does anyone know if there are any quilt shops in the area? We will have no internet access once we get there so I hope some of you reply this evening/morning. Sorry this is so late in the day. I posted another one earlier but didn't see it anywhere in the Recent Topics. Thought I'd try again.l Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Thanks. We got their Visitors Guide online but it didn't show any quilt shops. I've found sometimes they don't. I can't imagine anywhere not having a shop especially where they have lots of visitors. Take care.

Hocking hills is a magical place, My favorite vacation place. Logan as well as the surrounding communities are amazing . Unfortunatly I did not do any shopping the week I was there ,mostly hiked. Alot of times the property owners know of all of the shops. I do know there are lots of unique little shops. I went to a couple windchime shops that were amazing. If You find a quilt shop let us know,I take day trips to hocking hills to hike and take pictures. It is about two hours drive for me.Have fun,and enjoy the amazing scenery!

I appreciate all the tips. I'm pretty excited about going and it looks like a wonderful area. Last time we rented a cabin was on our honeymoon, 36 years ago. DH had a brochure that showed a beautiful cabin. We got there and 3 of the 4 walls were there, the 4th was a wall made of blankets! DH was so upset, it was supposed to go down into the 40's in Gatinburg. They ended up putting in another building but he has never rented anything like that again. This time he actually asked if the picture was an accurate representation of the property, lol. Apprently it was just built in March of this year so it should be really nice. If weather holds out, it will be perfect although it will be great just to get away and spend time w/him. Thanks again and if I do find any quilt shops, I'll be sure to share their locations.
