trip to Canada
Hello,
I'm very excited about this project, I'm probably going to Canada this fall (mostly Quebec and East Cost), and I wanted to know where I could meet some quilting group and patchwork shop.
Thank you!
Patricia

Here is a page that might have some info for you. They also have a Facebook page you can search out. https://www.canadianquilter.com/

I just looked at the rowbyrowexperience site and there is only one shop in Quebec participating. (the Ontario page actually has the Quebec shop listed at the end of the pages) https://quiltetcoton.com/ Maybe if you contact them they would have a better idea if there are more shops you could visit. (it is in Gatineau) I know there were shops in the Maritimes because I did visit some in 2007.
I can't see much info on this shop but it's reviews were good. http://www.effiloche.com/Bienvenue.html

bienvenue au Québec
You do not mention where you will be going. I live in Québec city and I am not impressed with what I can find in Fabricville and Club tissu although I did find something I liked at times. I always go and check what they have. one never knows...
My SIL lives on the south shore of Montreal and she likes Club tissu. One of my friend like "chez Hélène" in the Eastern township... I have never be there for fabric shopping so I have no opinion although the website looks great.
I lived in the Maritimes (Atlantic provinces) a while back but I was not a quilter then so I can not tell...
anyway here are some links for you to look at.

Hello helou,
I can't say where we are going because we don't know Quebec, we'll try to see different places. We started making contact with people we already know there and see how to organize the trip. We love nature more than big cities, and meeting people more than visiting museums... So I try to find places where I can share my passions : patchwork-courtepointe nature, weaving, spinning...
thank you for the links!
