What a joyful feeling that is, love your baby collection. I have some baby dolls and stuffed animals from my youngest daughter and grand children. they sit/lay on the bed in one of the extra bedrooms.
the quilts look so cheerful will make some child happy.

Where else beside head start can you give quilts to? I have made about 20 little receiving blankets, they are cotton on one side, and flannel on the back, 1 yard of each, NO batting I sew these inside out and before I sew them together, I place different colors, and textured ribbon around the edges then sew all around (leave a 6" opening or so to turn inside out) and I have a tabby blanket. I then tie them. They are quick and make a wonderful little extra in a baby gift. I would like to donate some but not real sure where to do this, any ideas would be great! I get my fabric from Thousand Bolts Only One Nut ! site so each cost approx. $11.00 - $12.00
