Hi, I just wanted to share the Charity quilts my Crazy quilters group did this season for homeless kids we adopted at an Elementary School in Sarasota Fl. We made quilts for babies, toddlers and teens. These kids are usually from one parent family's or one parent is in jail. Our Condo Association raised $1000 at Christmas for gifts. We send food, clothing and other necessities on a regular basis. Their are 4 of us in the group and come fall we will be making Christmas stockings for our residents to add gifts for these children. If you have any Christmas fabric for stockings to donate, please contact me at fashionmaven2@comcast. net. Thanks for looking
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this site. I love you all, Sandy

Are you in the Florida area? We might be able to help. Also, look into quilt guilds in your area and see if they might be interested in supplying family's with guilts. Out group has gotten so much pleasure from making these. Especially me, a novice quilter who bites off more than is good for me, when I finish one of these easy quilts it is so rewarding.
