Dee Dee always makes the prettiest samplers!
I have had the privilege of quilting another one similar to this last spring.

They are both so beautiful..the way she takes sampler blocks and combines them with border prints and makes this masterpiece is just amazing!
I have to honestly say I am really bad about looking at border prints at my LQS and passing them by because I think they are so confining....But when I see what Dee does with them ...I love them!
Anyway...It took me awhile to kind of decide how to quilt them I never want to take away from them..just highlight them without taking over...so I hope I accomplished that...I did outlining..and circling around the flowers...so they would kind of pop out..very hard to outline that sort of thing...but did enough to even out quilting and highlight them. After it's washed they stand out even more I think.
Of course I did block work...I LOVE block work. I like to pick a few things to uses over and over again..that way it brings it all together...so I used stippling, CC's and swirls.
I love the end result....I hope all of you do too!
I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA. I used Hobbs poly down batting.
Thanks for looking.
