Anyone know the name of this quilt block?

These pictures are of a quilt that my aunt made for my sister. She started the top when my mom was pregnant with my sister. (Sister was born in 1952) She either quilted it herself, or had someone hand quilt it for her and gave it to my sister for her high school graduation.
The white petals are gathered at the flower center and are puffy. The petals and the flower centers are appliqued. That's all I know about it except that it is a fabulous quilt.
My sister would like to know the name of the pattern. Anyone know?

I notice that you're from Missouri. This quilt was made near Potosi, Missouri, where my aunt lived. Small world.
