Batik Bag
Been working on a couple of bags. I was layed off last week from my job of 14 yrs. I buried myself in my sewing room all week. I wasn't happy with the clothsline method, so I found this method with batting on utube. I used 3 different Batiks all in melon shades. The green button brings out the green in the fabric. Also made a black and white bag, have to find another cool button before I post. Took me 2 days to make each one. No one would pay the price if they were for sale.

Really sorry about your lay off. I know how that can hurt. What a blessing to have a place you could go and be creative. Quilting and other accessories are healing for the soul. Your bags are great. Thank you for sharing.

I really like the bag, also. The clothesline bags have been on my "to do" list, but I think I like this better. Sorry about the job situation. Maybe since this door shut, an even better one better one will open.

Great looking bag. And the button is the perfect finishing touch. I think I like this better than the clothesline method, too.
Sorry to hear you were laid off. If you're really thinking of doing these for sale, you'll get quicker the more you do. In any case, sewing in good therapy.
