My second daughter had a birthday this week. Her quilt needs to be finished today for delivery tomorrow.

2 charm packs of Moda's Fandango with 15 more squares added and a yard each of two of the coordinating prints and a few blender and here it is. My first Disappearing Nine Patch.

Setting on point takes more squares than a straight set. That's why there is a 'special' square in the center. The colors are off. It is much more coral than pink as it looks in the pic. It suits this daughter and that's the bottom line. Wish me luck. I haven't SedITD in a long time.

The center was my first block with a star, so it was fun to do. This child is definitely a star and a friend, so it's appropriate that she have a Friendship Star.

I have a third daughter - and a fourth. I don't get to do a masculine one until September.
