Braggin' photos. . .

. . . braggin' only because they're finished. . . . .! And I never met a corner I couldn't mess up. I think my trademark will be off-kilter everything!
So here's what's hanging around the house now.

We live in a park called Oak Openings, so I'm hooked any thing with acorns. The acorns and leaves on this were made with cookie cutters. I'm also a sucker for any woven, plaid material. The binding material has cute pine cones all over it. I had it long arm stitched and she put leaves on the blank squares.

This is the little version of the big Oaks quilt. When I was taking pics today the sun and shadows were just delightful. It's one of the things I like best about our house. The way the light plays is different by the hour. I also make a smaller version of this. It has a back pocket that fits over a plastic stand up photo frame. I gave those for Christmas presents one year.

This is from a really cute kit, unfortunately, I no longer have the directions, but my thanks to the designer! And yes, that's Ranger Betty the Birder on the left, and Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore on the right. My heroes. . . .

Last one for today-- This is the other one in the set from above. I hung it with fish line from the window frames. You can't tell in this pic, but it looks like it's floating when you're in the room (which is 5 sided--hence the odd windows and angles).
Now if I can get my other projects finished, I get to treat my self to some sewing time! That's my only incentive to clean. . . .

Very nice projects, I'd say. I'm right there with you on the incentive to clean. Can't do much unless the house is somewhat presentable otherwise it just preys on my mind and I can't relax and enjoy what I'm doing. Really cute quilts!
