Cat Quilt for Heather

Cat Quilt for Heather
I love cats and so does my former DIL Heather. I found this pattern in an Australian quilting magazine and saved it till I was home and could cut into my scraps. I found some fish fabric so there is a 'catfish', I named most of the cats in the quiilt so I had a good time making it. I did change things a bit and that was a problem. I decided to make the head and ears out of a flying geese thingy and wing it on my own. I had notime to take it to a LAQ so I just did it myself. We loved it and so did Gracie, her cat. I forgot to take pictures when I was finished I was in that much of a hurry so I had her take some photos with her IPhone. Sorry the pictures aren't so great, but it's really much more colorful and pretty than the photo.

I love that quilt for doing scrappy style. Yours turned out great.
I made one out of homespuns http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...ts-t22342.html and quilted another for a client made all out of contemporary cat prints http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...c-t182446.html.
The pattern can also be found in Janet Kime's book The Cat's Meow along with loads of other cute cat quilt patterns.
