Charity Quilt for Children's Hospital

Charity Quilt for Children's Hospital
I joined the Portland Modern Quilt Guild in December. In January I joined one of the new "quilting bee" groups to make quilts for charity. Each member of the guild is asked to make the block of the month "one to keep and one to give," although members are not required to participate.
At the February meeting we were given our blocks from January. I am the volunteer "piecer" in our group. I finished the quilt top at our all day sew on Saturday. This is our first quilt to be donated to one of the local children's hospitals. I have now handed it off to the next group member to piece the back.
I am looking forward to piecing the next one
