Christmas Celebration Tree Skirt
#1
I saw this pattern online last week and I knew I just had to make it. It arrived in the mail today and instead of getting more sleep since I have to work overnight tonight, I decided to start sewing a bit. Here's my progress so far.

I will add more pics as I complete more of the sections. I am already loving the precision of paper piecing, but I feel kind of guilty about how much fabric I'm wasting.

Ohhhh I can tell that's going to be a beauty.
Are the pieces 'large' enough where you can sew them back together in crumb block fashion for the backing? That way all will not be totally lost.
I hope you don't mind but I had to see what the entire skirt looked like and found this. Is it the one?
