Hi,
Finally completed my French Roses quilt. I used fabrics that I hoped would compliment the style of raw edges. Two of the photos show it before it was washed, and one shows the effect after washing. My husband really likes the look after the wash. I'm sure it will look even better after additional washes.

did you use any type of stabilizer to get your stitching done before washing? Or just place the fabrics and sew? I have done some raw-edge for my daughter, but usually use the Thermo-bond lite and sew to the edges... hers doesn't fray hardly at all (like her Hello Kitty stuff)... but this is really pretty!

I have the pattern to make French Roses too and haven't gotten around to it yet. But yours is an inspiration for me to start on it. It is very pretty came out great I really like it. Thanks for the after washing picture too I wondered how mine would look after I washed it and now I have an idea of how it turns out.
