Craigslist SCORE!

I have wanted one of these for EVER, but every time I found one it was either in such bad shape I wouldn't drag it home.. or WAY out of my price range. I was not as worried about the actual sewing machine. I was interested in the wrought iron stand UNDER it. There is no sewing machine in this cabinet.
Amazingly.. I bought drawers to fit this Singer cabinet back in the 1990's (and stashed them away)...lol So.. I am thrilled. The treadle mechanism runs as smooth as glass too. All for $30.00!
This is designated to be my Serger stand. Who knows.. maybe one day I'll stumble across an old machine that goes into the cabinet.

I sold on eBay for several years, and yes.. I guess you could call that "anticipation" buying. You do a lot of that when you are an old eBayer. I had wood cases made for the drawers and have used them well, but I can have hubby make other drawers for the cases now and put the drawers into the cabinet where they belong. Hehe...

Thank you thank you! I'm VERY leery doing anything on Craigslist, and I could not believe my eyes when I saw this sitting out in front of a their garage. Heck.. I didn't even have to dust it.. it was immaculate.
