Custom Quilted Garment Bag
#26
Thanks Linda for the link. I think I'll stick with my pattern--the bag opens all the way including the neck, which makes it easy to put clothes in. I just added a tie to hold the hangers in place. That is a nice looking bag though. I've made some that short and a little narrower for my granddaugthers to put their little girl clothes in, and one for another girl to put her pagent dresses in.

Nice job!
the polka dots would make it fun to use.
I have a similar bag that I purchased and want to emulate sometime. Across the bottom there is a zippered pouch that you can put things to .... a pair of shoes, hose, underwear or even some makeup, etc. Not a lot, but often just what you need with you if you're doing a quick change somewhere and saves from taking a full suitcase. It has a handle top and bottom, so if you're carrying it you can loop the two together, and carry more like a suitcase or bag.
Love it ... the next one will be a made-by-me-quilty one!
