Experimental Kaffe Fassett quilttop........sunglasses recommended
#1
Well, the outcome of my experiment doesnt only leave me speachless but also somehow blinded
I wanted to know how different colors of the same print work for stack and wack. And I wanted to make a quilt with Kaffe Fassett fabric. Some of you recommended black for sashing but it looked to hard to me. With according solids its very, very bright.
It sure will bring our black sofa to live and might even keep the cats off!?
In the green corners I planed to applique a flower from the red print but there aren`t any well defined flowers in the print. Any other idea?

I like it! Were you trying for a hollow block effect in the OBW border area? The shot from the distance definitely gives it a hollow block look. You were very brave to experiement like this and I agree, it will really brighten up your black sofa, in a good way. I won't hold out much hope for the cat staying off it though! They are known for their impeccible tastes so I have a feeling the cat will like it.
