The Face in the Rose

For your amusement...
I've been fascinated by kaleidoscope patterns. I decided to try this out in Windows Paint using my photo of my beginner class table runner.
If I can get this to upload right, the first pic will be the part of the table runner photo I worked from.
I selected a bit of that to make the kaleidoscope. I got the first two pieces together - and they make a face! Can you see the pop-eyed man with the moustache? In my elegant rose fabric, yet!

For some reason, he's clearer against a gray background, so...

I have several yards of that same fabric and have been trying to decide what to do with it. I fell in love with its shimmery look, but now I'm intrigued by its other possibilities. Do you suppose there are more little men hiding in there? What fun!
