Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt finished
Started w/the group here in '09 or '10?, life happens... It is now completed. I mulled over the idea of custom quilting each square on my Tin Lizzie, but decided to go w/a all over pantograph called "Leaf Pile" as it felt like a match, the quilt is going to be used on my bed and not going in a show to be judged. I chose a brown thread that matches the sashing & backing pieces and I am pleased w/the results. This is my first machine quilted finish for myself, I even machine finished the binding. I am quite pleased w/the results and the quilt is now on my bed. And this from a die-hard hand quilter who just can't anymore without doing in my arthritic hands.

Yay for you, AuntJo--was it really that long ago that we started FWS? Yes, lots has happened. So glad you finished yours--it's stunning. I absolutely love the borders--so original and add so much to the blocks. The brown sashing & quilting complements your perfectly pieced blocks. Great job!
