It is FINALLY (!!!!!!) FINISHED!!!!
#1
I have been working on this darn quilt - or at least trying to get ready to work on it, by trying to come up with a design I could be happy with - for almost a year now. It is (theoretically, at least) a T-shirt quitl. Part of the problem is that she only had 2 shirts. How do you make a QUILT with only 2 shirts?!? Well, a couple of months ago, I got the idea to use stars, and found the fabrics. The design itself came in starts and stops, a little at a time: first, I found the star pattern and created the inner part of the blocks. In stages, the other layers, shapes, etc. came to me, until ..... (drumroll please!) ..... It is finally finished!!
I can only hope that the client will be THRILLED with it! The price in our negotiations was left quite open, so I am hoping I will be able to get the cost of my fabrics plus a LITTLE for my time. Anyway, please tell me HONESTLY what you think of this latest "masterpiece".

btw.... did I mention it turned itself into a MONSTER??? This quilt most certainly seemed to develop a mind of it's own as it was created. It told me, a little at a time, what it was to become. Final block size : 37" 3 blocks square. MUCH bigger than I ever planned to make it!
