A finished charity quilt
#1
A member of my guild, ask us to make heart quilts from her DS's pink/pinkish fabrics to donate to charity. DS was a new quilter and passed away this year. I added my fabric to make a D9P.
The second photo is a better picture of my avatar. My guild managed to hang it in the wrong catagory, so no ribbons. I did receive nice comments from the judges, especially on my binding. That alone, made me do a happy dance.

Both of the quilts are beautiful, how nice of you to work on the charity quilt. It was too bad your Garden Maze quilt got categorized wrong - it is gorgeous! I am sure it would have done really well in the proper judging. Mind if I ask, where did you get that pattern? When I search for that name, it gives me a very different looking pattern.

I made this quilt at a Mystery Quilt Birthday Party. Some of our ladies throw themselves a party at 60 or 70 years young. The Hostess used a book called "Mystery Quilts" by Rita Fishel. The name of this pattern was "What's Knot". It is 65" x 72".
Thanks for your compliments, the ladies and gents on this board are so sweet and supportive of each other.
