Finished Dresden & new idea for hanging quilts :)
#1
HI all,
I am the wife of a contractor, and my hubby doesn't like me putting holes into walls to hang quilts & things. I recently finished hand quilting a small Dresden Plate, and I got the idea it would be cool to hang it diagionally in my sewing room on my closet door to add some color to the room. I knew I couldn't nail into the door, so I came up with an idea. I sewed a small plastic ring (I believe they're used for curtains, and I bought them at Walmart), and then used one of those removeable hooks. It really works great, and now I'm planning on making 4 different Dresdens for the 4 different seasons.
Just figured I'd share my idea in case other hubbys out there are just like mine. :) Hope you are all having a great day.
