Finished my new extension table

After many helpful hints from this board, I made a 30 x 36 extension table for my machine. The styrofoam block which forms the rest of the table was a freebie headed for the trash by a neighbor - top for a hot tub which I cut down to fit. Quilting a large quilt is now a whole lot easier. Thanks to everyone for their tips, etc.

That is so neat. I want one of those. I am learning how to quilt, and am doing the doll quilt right now, and already can see where that would be a whole lot better to handle the fabric. Thank you for sharing. Penny

What a great setup!
I'm still kicking myself for letting a couple of big pieces of styrofoam get away from me. They weren't as thick as yours but would have made a nice design wall.
