Yes Ruth your statement is so true. I like you have been sewing for many years makeing mostly clothes (made three dresses for christmas) and as of late learning to quilt. What a wonderful world, the art of Quilting. Take care happy quilting.

sewsweet, I see your old Singer in the corner, looks just like mine. It was my mom's, that's what I learned to sew on and she gave it to me when I grew up. My father-in-law who will be 90 Sat. has his mother's, it has three drawers on each side. I'm the only one in the family who sews so I sure hope I'm the one who ends up with it. Oh, by the way, nice quilts and dress.

I got that machine bartering fifteen years ago, it'is a Model 127 made 8/22/1916 in Elizbeath NJ, the good thing about it is, it works.

Sewsweet I was just into the pics forum. Did you know that your name is in there twice on the last page of the lists but, whatever you were posting apparently didn't make it. The topic portions of the two spots are empty. Nothing there to click on to. Thought you'd like to know, if you're not already aware of the situation. :-) I'd love to see your pics if you have some!
