I found this folding screen on the side of the street (trash) and claimed it. I glued flannel onto each panel (they are just cardboard) and now I have a fold up design board that I really have a spot for in my very crowded sewing room.
This is my first venture into "dumpster diving" and I'm quite pleased with the result.
The Christmas blocks are part of a wall hanging we are doing at quilt guild. I'm doing mine "Quilt As You Go" style.
The house blocks were a pick-up of someone else's left-over project.

What a great idea. I never seem to see anything worth "diving" for anymore, but I use to pick up old windows to remake into shelves.

Wow, I'd sure like to find some thng like that to make a design wall with. It looks like it will be very nice for auditioning table runners and small projects with out having to unfold the wall. Great find, Huggies, Fay

What a great idea ... and your sewing room is wonderful, too! There is a pink (maybe lavender) and blue batik in the background that is great, too!

Great idea! Glad you are able to use the divider! I like that it can be folded up and stored out of the way! Yay!
