GFG Finished Today
#21
I have been working on this since September 2010. It started as a car project from scraps from my niece's quilt. I wanted to learn the process, but it grew and grew and then turned into what it is today. It then turned into a stuck-at-the-hospital on-call project. Then...I had emergency back surgery a few weeks ago and I was told to sit and don't move. I am more mobile now, but still being very careful!! I can't sit at my machine yet, but hoping to try that come Monday =D Now for the hand quilting on this project...

I decided to start the quilting tonight on my newly sandwiched quilt top =D I am going to do traditional quilting of the center and then some spirograph patterns over the flowers...

Simply Stunning!!! You have created a beautiful heirloom. I started one months ago and realized I don't have the patience to sit and do it for any great length of time so it is my Dr appt's project. Sometimes I can get 10-15 hexs done while waiting. Yes, it will take a long time at this rate but, it will be worth it. Yours is a great inspiration. thankyou for sharing.
