Is this a good start for a scrappy?
#1
My box of scrapps is growing and wanted to start a quilt. I decided to start with a 5 1/2 square and sew scrapps together. I've been procrastinating because I don't know how to combine the colors and make it nice to the eye.
After seeing some of the very nice quilts here in the QB and hearing that the scrapps are taken out of a bag with no order, I decided to give it a try.
Do you think it is a good start or should I control the way I saw the scraps toghether?

Looks good to me!
A quilt like that I wouldn't worry about being organized for the scrappy look. It'll all just "hapen"!!!
Have you considered doing it as QAYG?
Also, I'd suggest you make your squarea a little bigger, then it'll give you some extra to trim off for precision squares. Will result in an easy put-together in the next stage and a better looking quilt later!
Good Luck and Have Fun!
